Heritage House: Honoring Philippine roots, culture, and family
In celebration of Filipino American History Month this October, we are making space to recognize family history and heritage through our latest cultural exploration box: Heritage House - Honoring Philippine roots, culture, and family. This is a fun opportunity for families to explore and discuss their familial and cultural roots and it provides a platform to share and record their family’s immigration story. From creating a family tree and mapping out their family’s Philippine origins to crafting a dollhouse that represents their home+family as well as reading about a multi-generational bond in the newly-released children’s book by Rowena Similar - Rom-rom and Lola, a fun range of activities is to be enjoyed and sweet memories to be made through this unique family heritage kit!
